This place has some amazing character! I'm glad to see this establishment has been able to withstand the ever changing tide in this tourist town. I stumbled upon this place while staying the night before heading to the UP in February, so way off season. I can only imagine what this place looks like in the summer! I arrived shortly before the kitchen closed, no problem. I ordered the patty melt and they took good care of me. It was nothing special, but it really hit the spot after the long day. I was surprised to see PBR on draft so I decided to give it a try, well that's nothing to write about! But it did help wash meal down. My server took good care of me, thanks Keyhole Bar!
Cant praise those place enough. Great food, cold beer, and fast friendly service. Even at peek hours all the staff is friendly and helpful. Ambiance is the perfect light you'd want at a bar. We've stopped for supper the past two nights while staying in the area due to the great food and service! Waitresses have been great! Attentive and hard working. The food was timely and we really enjoyed it both nights. Enjoyable atmosphere. They get quite busy at normal supper hours, but if you must wait it's worth considering. I'm sure we'll be back. Best place in the city . Great history. Great staff , great food , I wish I was closer this place really shines I went in the slower part of season and was stunned on how great this place is
